ALUMNI RELATIONS – ROTARY PEACE FELLOWSHIP |
February 2023 Dear friends, The Rotary Peace Fellowship Alumni Association Board has made an announcement of elections to welcome new leadership on the Board. The Board is currently composed of three members. In order to increase diversity of representation (they especially encourage non-male candidates) and to add to their capacity for governance, the elections will add six new members, all with two-year terms from 2023-2025. The officers-elect along with the three existing members will then decide amongst themselves the roles and responsibilities as defined in the by-laws. Following the RPFAA Election Guidelines, I welcome any Rotary Peace Fellow to submit a nomination announcing their candidacy through 28 February 2023 by submitting a brief introduction of themselves, their motivation for joining the board, and their vision for their term in relation to established priorities. SUBMIT A NOMINATION The timeline for the elections is as follows: 16 February: Call for nominations opens. 28 February: Call for nominations close, information compiled for voting. 4 March: Voting starts. Rotary Peace Fellows are able to submit complaints regarding any individual’s candidacy through the voting period. 15 March: Voting closed. Results announced at Annual General Meeting in April 2023. For any questions for the current members about the election process or serving on the board, please write to [email protected]. Thank you for participating in this process! The Rotary Alumni Relations team is available to help you. Please contact [email protected]should you have any questions. |
