The Rotary Peace Fellows community lost a beautiful soul and strong advocate on September 11, 2026. Carol and her husband Tim provided the Rotary Peace Fellowship Alumni Association with its first large grant, showing to us their trust and belief in a community of peace fellows. Below is a message shared from her husband, Tim:
Carol wanted no gathering or ceremony after her death but rather a quiet moment of reflection by those so inclined to appreciate moments of life she shared with them.
The greatest honor we can give to her life is to move on, living ours fully, and giving to others.
Carol said the most rewarding parts of her life have been long relationships with friends from around the world, taking care of cancer patients, mentoring candidates for Rotary Peace Fellowships, and making a different in communities where she lived.
